As the static events are soon approaching, here are a few reminders/updates.

Knowledge Event Dates:

• MathWorks Simulation Challenge – May 25th and 26th (afternoons)
• Concept Design Presentation – June 3rd (afternoon)
• Social Responsibility Presentation – June 2nd and 3rd

Knowledge Event Platform: Pathable (Zoom-based)

ACTION: Ensure your Team Captains are correctly listed on your sae.org roster.

Team captains will be sent a Qualtrics Survey to provide their presenters for the Presentation Event approximately two weeks in advance. This survey is for you to provide a list of all presenters for all static events. You will provide a separate list for each static event. Presenters can present in more than one static event, but they must be listed under each static event they are presenting in.

Student Presenter Invitations: Presenters will receive an invite to claim their profiles by 05/17. If you do not receive your invitation email before then, check your spam folder. If it still is not there, email [email protected] to say you did not receive the invitation.

Practice Sessions: Each team can sign up for a practice session to be held 05/20-05/22. These sessions are for your presenters to TEST the Pathable site. Can presenters log in? Can presenters access Zoom on their computer? Can you easily figure out how to screen share, etc. There will be NO SAE staff to assist you or judges to practice presenting with during these Practice Sessions.

Number of Presenters Permitted: Because we will be in a virtual environment, we do encourage teams to exercise caution by limiting attendance to only students presenting, no spectators. The Qualtrics survey will only have a limited number of spots to enter presenter information for each presentation. Teams can record the presentation for other team members to review after.
