Whether you’re a University Program competitor, Collegiate Chapter member, or an engineering student who found value in SAE membership, we want to hear from you. Send us your interesting anecdotes from SAE competitions, tales of success and failure, valuable lessons learned, vehicle technical specs, insights from mentorship, or accounts of how SAE has helped support your education and pre-professional career.

Each issue aims to publish 1-3 student-written stories. Students whose stories are selected will be paid $0.25 per published word. Stories should be written in the first-person POV and should not be longer than 800 words in length.

• February: Story submission deadline is December 16; issue is published on February 10.
  * April: Story submission deadline is February 21; issue is published on April 8.
• September: Story submission deadline is July 22; issue is published on September 9.
• November: Story submission deadline is September 22; issue is published on November.
